Step1: Create a new sensor setting for the fuel sensor
Step 2: Choose correct sensor type and parameter
- Sensor type: always choose "Fuel level sensor"
- Parameter: analog input1=adc1, analog input2=adc 2
Step 3: Finish calibration table (Below descriptions based on the regular size fuel tank)
X is fuel sensor value, range 0-4096, when X is 0, fuel tank is empty, when X is 4096, fuel tank is full
Y is the corresponded liters in the fuel tank.
For the regular size fuel tank, only two lines are enough. It is a linear relationship between fuel sensor X value (actually, X reflects on the fuel level height value) and the fuel tank actual liters Y value.
So X and Y value formula is below
X Y
0 0
4096 Max fuel tank capacity, unit is liter
Below picture this fuel tank Max fuel is 420 liters.
Then click "Generate" to get formula between X, a, b
Step 4: You can find the fuel level result below after corret settings
